Match My Marketer didn’t start as a business idea on a whiteboard—it came from real life, real pressure, and a shift in what I wanted my future to look like.

For over 10 years, I worked within the insurance industry. It was structured, fast-paced, and taught me a lot about problem-solving, people, and handling responsibility under pressure. Alongside that, I completed my degree, building the foundation of my professional career and developing the discipline to see things through properly, even when it was challenging.

But like many people, becoming a parent changed everything.

 

Having my 2-year-old made me completely reassess not just how I work, but why I work. It made time feel more valuable, decisions feel more intentional, and it pushed me to think about building something that actually helps people in a more meaningful way.

 

Why I Built Match My Marketer

While looking at the world of small business marketing, I noticed a common pattern—business owners were overwhelmed.

They knew they needed marketing, but they didn’t know who to trust, where to start, or how to avoid wasting time and money on the wrong help. At the same time, there were talented freelance marketers struggling to connect with the right businesses.

There was a clear gap, but no simple solution.

That’s where the idea for Match My Marketer came from: a way to remove the confusion and make it easier for small businesses to find the right marketing support without the stress of searching, guessing, or trial and error.

 

My Experience

My background in insurance shaped how I approach this business.

Ten years in a structured industry taught me the importance of process, trust, and getting things right the first time. I’ve seen how damaging it can be when people are left confused, unsupported, or pushed into decisions without clarity—and I’ve built Match My Marketer to avoid exactly that.

Everything here is designed to be simple, clear, and low-risk for both businesses and marketers.

 

My Why

At the heart of it, this is about time, trust, and opportunity.

I wanted to build something that takes that pressure away.
